We, Will, Watch The Fight Between Max Holloway And Brian Ortega At UFC 231 In Toronto!
UFC Featherweight title holder, Max Holloway, will try to defend his belt against Brian Ortega at UFC 231. The fight is now officially set. It will take place at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada, on December 8, 2018, for the UFC Featherweight title!
TSN initially reported the fight news, following this report, UFC officials confirmed on Monday that Holloway will defend his strap against Ortega. During the last month, Brian Ortega said on his Twitter account that both of the fighters agreed to fight. He was just asking for the contract.

As well as you know, Max Holloway was already set to fight Brian Ortega at UFC 226 on July 7, 2018. Unfortunately, Max Holloway had to pull out of the game due to medical issues. Ortega was scratched from the fight card due to his withdrawal.
Max Holloway was also mentioned as a replacement on a short notice for Khabib Nurmagomedov match at UFC 223. Yet, the doctors didn’t give him medical clearance to fight.
Max Holloway (19-3 MMA, 15-3 UFC) had a great score in his last three matches. He defeated Anthony Pettis at UFC 206 on December 10, 2016, via body kick and punches. He also won UFC Interim Featherweight title. At UFC 212 on June 3, 2017, he was very dominant versus Jose Aldo and won via third-round TKO. The Blessed also won and unified UFC Featherweight Championship in this match. Finally, he defended the belt versus Jose Aldo in a rematch at UFC 218, on December 2, 2017.
Brian Ortega (14-0, 1 NC MMA, 6-0, 1 NC UFC) is still undefeated in his professional career. He won Renato Moicano at UFC 214 on July 29, 2017, via stunning guillotine choke. He made one big surprise versus Cub Swanson at UFC Fight Night 123 on December 9, 2017. T-City won Swanson via guillotine choke too. In his last match, Brian Ortega shocked everybody. At UFC 222, on March 3, 2018, he knocked Frankie Edgar out with a punch!
