Watching this .gif of Jon Jones eye poke Glover Teixeira can only be fully appreciated if there’s dubstep playing the background. Everything sort of becomes in synch and 15 minutes later you wonder why you’re still looking at it.
Take a look at Jon Jones’ pinky because it appears to go directly inside of Teixeira’s eye. I’m not even sure how it’s possible, but it appears to have happened, and it’s rather gruesome. Joe Rogan has been chiming on the fact that gloves that prevent eye pokes should exist inside cage, yet it’s far more easy said than done. The sad part is no one has even attempted to design a glove that can achieve this. Ah well, the more finger pokes from Jon Jones the more people are going to say he cheated, and that’s just downright ridiculous.
