- Leon Edwards stormed inside the Bellator cage to confront Johnny Eblen for disrespecting his brother Fabian
- Eblen knocked out Fabian to defend his middleweight title
UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards got caught up in the heat of the moment after his brother Fabian got knocked out by Johnny Eblen at Bellator Dublin. Edwards stepped inside to cage and wanted to take on “Diamond Hands.”
Leon wanted all the Smoke
Eblen came in at Bellator Dublin to defend his middleweight title against Fabian Edwards, Leon’s younger brother. Fans speculated that the fight would end up in a draw but Eblen managed to have his way on Fabian, especially in the beginning of the third round.
In the middle of an exchange, “Diamond Hands” landed a looping overhand right to Fabian’s chin which immediately floored the 30-year-old. After a couple of ground and pound from Eblen, Fabian could be seen rolling his eyes and the referee in charge swiftly stepped in to stop the fight.
Despite the referee being in front of him, Eblen was seen yelling at the dazed Fabian. Evidently, Leon, who was in attendance, did not appreciate Eblen’s unsportsmanlike antics.
Moments later, the reigning UFC welterweight king was already inside the cage and having some verbal altercation with Eblen. Fortunately, the event security was all over the cage to stop the two from coming to blows.

And still
The stunning KO win over Fabian saw Eblen improve his unbeaten record to 14-0. He now has two successful title fight defenses, having beaten Anatoly Tokov via decision at Bellator 290 earlier this year.
On the other hand, Fabian ended his impressive run. Prior to Eblen, “The Assassin” was on a three-fight winning streak, having three MMA veterans in Gegard Mousasi, Charlie Ward and Lyoto Machida.
As for Leon, he is now set to defend his UFC welterweight title against Colby Covington at UFC 296 on December 16.
