Khabib Nurmagomedov Considered Big Favorite For Fight with Conor Mcgregor

UFC lightweight Nurmagomedov was savage in mauling Brazilian Edson Barboza at UFC 219’s co-main card, eventually winning all three rounds via unanimous decision and solidify his status to be the best the division has to offer. Khabib improved his professional MMA career record to a perfect 25-0.

Nurmagomedov opens as a big favorite for a potential fight with UFC lightweight champ Conor Mcgregor.

After the dominated win over Barboza, Khabib said he wanted fights with UFC star Conor McGregor and interim champ Tony Ferguson.

Well, Khabib’s next fight will now depend on If Irishman returns to the Octagon.

While it makes sense if Mcgregor chooses to do a title unification bout in his return with Tony Ferguson, but things play the other way.

Apparently, Conor Mcgregor will likely to narrow the choice of his next opponent based on their particular draw power, it dominates Nurmagomedov over Ferguson.

Sports books put out odds for a potential fight between Nurmagomedov and the Irish superstar and they are rather shocking.

“Nurmagomedov now listed as a -260 favorite over McGregor (+180). Opening odds were -115 for each”

McGregor made his highly anticipated boxing debut against Floyd Mayweather back in August 2017. That super fight became one of the biggest-selling draws in the history of pay-per-view and may have profited McGregor as much as $100 million.

Irishman has not stepped foot inside the Octagon since UFC 205 where he scored a second-round knockout win over Eddie Alvarez to crown the UFC lightweight title.

What do you think who will come out victorious if Mcgregor and Nurmagomedov squared off in 2018?
