Khabib Nurmagomedov Tells Conor McGregor “Doesn’t Deserve A Rematch”

Khabib Nurmagomedov Is Not Interested In The Second Fight Versus Conor McGregor!

Khabib Nurmagomedov faced Conor McGregor in the main event of UFC 229. During the first two rounds, the Dagestani dominated and even knocked the Irishman down. Conor was better in the third. Yet, Khabib ended the match in the fourth via a submission.

But unfortunately, the legendary match which sold the highest number of PPV (pay-per-view) buys in the history of UFC is remembered by a very disgraceful act. As soon as the clash ended, Khabib jumped out of the cage and tried to teach Dillon Danis a lesson. It quickly escalated into a huge disastrous wild brawl. Dana White even declined to give Khabib Nurmagomedov a belt due to “security reasons”.

But despite catastrophic UFC 229 ending, there were hints of Khabib Vs Conor rematch too! AKA head coach Javier Mendez said AT&T Stadium would be a perfect venue for their second fight. Also, two rivals went back and forth on social media.

While Conor trolls Khabib for “b*tching”, the Dagestani reminds him of the “epic shameful moment”.

Oh, wait, stop! Khabib Nurmagomedov claims “The Notorious” “doesn’t deserve” another chance. (h/t MMAFighting.com)

“[Laughs] We’ll see,” Nurmagomedov said. “He doesn’t deserve this. Rematch for what? Before last fight he talked, talked but when we were inside the cage he don’t do nothing.”

At the moment, both Khabib and Conor are under temporary suspensions by NSAC for their role in UFC 229 post-fight incident. The hearing is set for the end of January. If he doesn’t get a prolonged suspension, Khabib Nurmagomedov will be willing to defend UFC Lightweight belt against any challenger.

“Anyone. Anyone,” Khabib said. “But we have to wait for court. . . We’re just waiting for Nevada Athletic Commission on January 29. I have a call. We will see.”

Do you think Khabib should rematch Conor? Can you predict the NSAC suspension length for both fighters?
