Jorge Masvidal and Kevin Holland were involved in a second near altercation during UFC 287 fight week.
UFC 287 fighters Jorge Masvidal and Kevin Holland nearly came to blows before the event this week in Miami. Both fighters are there to be featured in the Miami fight card, but they are not there to face each other. Masvidal will be fighting Gilbert Burns in the co-main event while Holland is matched with Santiago Ponzinibbio. Despite the alternative opponents, these two were involved in not one, but two incidents that almost resulted in physical fights.
Earlier this week at the fighter hotel, there were some words exchanged between the two men. They were both held back from one another but tempers flared. The pair were separated and have, for the most part, been kept apart for the rest of the week. That was until Friday when footage of another incident was released.

Jorge Masvidal was confronted by Kevin Holland once again during UFC 287 fight week
The video courtesy of TMZ shows Masvidal on the streets of Miami being held back by someone. He is clearly upset and yelling. In the video, it is unclear who he is targeting but according to reports, that man was once again Holland. A representative for Holland told TMZ that Holland initiated the incident by calling out “Sup, baby girl” to Masvidal. He then became angry and needed to be held back.
This bad blood between Masvidal and Holland is unlikely to trickle into the cage. They are currently in different weight classes and Masvidal seems to have his sights set on a title shot. If he defeats Burns on Saturday night he believes he should be the next in line to face off against champion Leon Edwards. However, he will have some convincing to do since Dana White was already expressed his desire to have Colby Covington fight Edwards next.
