Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones Took Twitter Shots At 205-Pound Contenders Anthony Smith And Corey Anderson

Jon Jones earned a split decision victory over Thiago Santos, but he didn’t dominate the Brazilian. Despite “Marreta” finished the match with both knees hurt, “Bones” slipped through with a very close victory.

Anthony Smith and Corey Anderson didn’t politely challenge the champ, so Jones took to his Twitter and posted few eye-catching statuses.

Anthony Smith said some very interesting stuff about Jon Jones, but the current 205-pound champ made fun of Anthony Smith’s comments!

“Anthony Smith in a recent interview: “I’ve said it over, and over, and over again” I’m coming, and there’s no one who’s gonna stop me.”

Corey Anderson didn’t fight since UFC 232, so it seemed he was really looking for a fight and demanded: “all the smoke” from the reigning defending undisputed division king. He also attacked Jones’ past.

Corey is riding on a three-win streak over Patrick Cummings, Glover Texiera, and Ilir Latifi. It seems Jon took Corey’s comments very personally.

“Breaking news: Cory Anderson verbally attacks Jon Jones about his past.

Why does these guys have to talk smack before taking their L? And then after the fight I go on with good sportsmanship and say nice things about them. 😩 It’s getting old”

Jones posted two more statuses, attacking both Smith and Anderson. Take a look.

Jones is right about one thing. Nobody has attacked his Octagon performance. After all, the 205-pound champ was unable to finish the man who barely stood on his feet and nearly lost the belt. Sticking to the same routine about Jon Jones’ past gets boring.

What do you think of the latest shots between Jon Jones, Anthony Smith, and Corey Anderson?
