Jon Jones Responds To Daniel Cormier’s Recent Call Out On Social Media

Former light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and current UFC champ, Daniel Cormier’s rivalry, is perhaps one of the most storied in UFC history. Both strikers have met twice previously, and Cormier came up short both times to Jon Jones. They last fought at UFC 214, where Cormier lost to rival Jon Jones via TKO back in July but was reinstated as the UFC’s 205-pound champion after Jones tested positive for a banned substance steroid Turinabol prior to his fight. Jones is currently on suspension and fined $205,000, has license revoked by CSAC.

Jones is still awaiting sanctions for the failed test and faces a maximum suspension of four years.

Daniel Cormier expressed his eagerness to have a third fight with Jones this past weekend before he hangs his gloves for good.

It didn’t take long for his bitter rival to responded to Cormier’s recent comments:

“Come get me baby.”

This marks his second failed test, Jones previously tested positive for two banned substances, clomiphene and letrozol, prior to a scheduled July 2016 bout against Cormier at UFC 200. Jones is adamant that he has never knowingly taken banned substance throughout his career.

Cormier who is prepping for a heavyweight fight with champ Stipe Miocic at UFC 226 pay-per-view which is set to take place July 7 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
