Joe Rogan has revealed that Joe Pyfer has the unofficial record for the best score among fighters on the punch machine, not Francis Ngannou.

Ngannou’s punching power is well-known within the MMA, and now boxing, communities. “The Predator” had a whooping 941 score on a punch machine, and UFC CEO Dana White once compared his punching power to getting hit by a Ford Escort. If Rogan and UFC fighter Sean Brady are to be believed, then Joe Pyfer’s punches may pack even more heat than Ngannou’s.

Joe Rogan Says Joe Pyfer Holds Unofficial Record Over Francis Ngannou

During a recent episode of the “JRE MMA Show,” Joe Rogan and Sean Brady both claimed that Joe Pyfer has Ngannou beat when it comes to the punch machine. They also maintained Pyfer’s score didn’t count.

“We should tell everybody that he broke Francis Ngannou’s record on that punch machine,” Rogan said. “They didn’t wanna register it, which I don’t understand why. Why didn’t they wanna give it to him?”

Brady chimed in, and claimed that Pyfer actually broke the record unofficially three times.

“I don’t know,” Brady said. “The guy was saying like something was weird with the machine. He did it like three times, like three times in a row.”

It’s hard to believe a middleweight could break Ngannou’s record, and Rogan shared his take that this is what may have cost Pyfer the record.

“Oh, so the guy didn’t wanna believe it,” Rogan said.

Brady and Joe ended up sharing a laugh with their conclusion that the decision-maker was in such disbelief that it led to Ngannou’s record standing.

“He didn’t believe that it was real, like how hard Joey was hitting it,” Brady said.

Perhaps Nganouu may want to test that punch machine again, as he will be sharing the ring with former boxing world champion Anthony Joshua on March 9 in Saudi Arabia. Fight fans await to see how Ngannou will look coming off his impressive showing against reigning WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.
