Jake Shields and Mike Jackson got into a scuffle at the UFC Performance Institute due to shots fired at each other on Twitter.
Former Strikeforce middleweight champion and UFC veteran Jake Shields moved on from professional competition in Oct. 2018, when he fell to Ray Cooper III at the PFL 10 Playoffs 3. During his prime, he dominated the octagon under numerous promotions. He racked up an impressive 15-fight win streak between 2005 and 2010, which included notable wins over Robbie Lawler, Jason Miller, and Dan Henderson.
Jake Shields attacks Mike Jackson due to a twitter dispute
Over the last few months, Shields and Jackson shared a heated rivalry stemming from their disagreements on political issues and related hot topics. Shields took issue with Jackson labeling him a “nazi” for his views. When the two crossed paths at the UFC PI, tensions escalated as Shields appeared to make things physical.
In the video uploaded by Shields on Twitter, he can be seen on top of Jackson taking the mount and side control positions before landing some shots.

Mike Jackson slammed Shields for the scuffle
About an hour before Shields posted the clip, ‘The Truth’ took to the platform to hit back at the 43-year-old for making things physical.
“A nazi just did a thing. @jakeshieldsajj is such a vile thug.”

The two continued their feud online, with Shields inviting Jackson to the Xtreme Couture gym for a match. It doesn’t look like the rivalry will die down anytime soon. Jackson continued his verbal assault calling Shields a nazi in different ways while Shields fired back and stated that he was waiting at the gym.
