Jake Paul and Conor McGregor had polar opposite reactions to Elon Musk claiming the UFC won’t be involved if he fights Mark Zuckerberg.

Over the past few months, Musk and Zuckerberg have created worldwide attention for a potential cage fight between them. As the billionaires continue to voice their interest, Dana White has made several comments about helping promote the event. It turns out Musk isn’t interested in working with the UFC. The CEO of SpaceX posted the following messages on Twitter to address the situation:

“The fight will be managed by my and Zuck’s foundations (not UFC). Livestream will be on this platform and Meta. Everything in camera frame will be ancient Rome, so nothing modern at all. I spoke to the PM of Italy and Minister of Culture. They have agreed on an epic location.”

“Everything done will pay respect to the past and present of Italy”

“And all proceeds go to veterans”

“And pediatric hospitals in Italy”

Musk’s comments quickly went viral as people are starting to believe the billionaires might make the fight happen. Jake Paul, a YouTuber-turned-boxer, voiced his opinion and support for the owner of Twitter. ‘The Problem Child’ had this to say in a tweet:

“Elon Musk is the real boss of bosses. Meanwhile Dana White selling Musk Zuck t-shirts. This is how you do it. All to charity. Would be amazing to use some of the proceeds to setup a pension plan for fighters. Elon – I am all in to help in any way.”

Meanwhile, Conor McGregor isn’t intrigued by Musk potentially fighting Zuckerberg. The former UFC two-division champion had this to say in a since-deleted Twitter post:

“I could not be less interested in this, I am so happy the UFC will not be involved.”

Elon Musk reveals he needs a minor surgery after getting an MRI

The outcome of a fight between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg would feature two primary factors. Zuckerberg would have a significant advantage because he has trained and competed in BJJ. On the contrary, Musk might not have more fighting skills, but he would have a size advantage.

Musk might have another disadvantage due to an ongoing injury. A fan commented on the Twitter owner’s recent update post by asking:

“How was the MRI?”

The 52-year-old billionaire responded by saying:

“I spent 3 hours in an MRI machine on Monday. Bottom line is that my C5/C6 fusion is solid, so not an issue. However, there is a problem with my right shoulder blade rubbing against my ribs, which requires minor surgery. Recovery will only take a few months.”

Musk and Zuckerberg must get on the same page to make the fight happen. The CEO of Facebook recently shut down Musk by sharing a message on Threads saying he would announce any official details. It’ll be intriguing to see if the billionaires come to terms and settle their differences with violence.
