The UFC is back tonight live from the UFC Apex Center in Las Vegas Nevada. A big night of fights starts with a middleweight showdown. Darren Stewart (12-5-1NC) faces off against Kevin Holland (18-5) after a spicy build-up.
Round 1
Stewart takes the center of the cage and both fighters land immediately. Stewart engages in a clinch but Holland pins him against the fence. The fight is momentarily stopped for a knee to the groin of Holland. Both fighters land leg kicks and Stewart lands a big leg kick. Stewart lands another low kick as Holland counters with a right hand. Big right-hand lands for Stewart. He follows Holland to the fence and both fighters exchange blows in an impressive flurry of strikes. Holland keeps Stewart against the cage and maintains the clinch position. Nice right hand lands for Holland, he keeps Stewart at range with his jab. Stewart attempts a takedown but it is stopped by Holland.

Nice low kick lands for Holland, he follows it up with a one-two combination. Stewart catches a kick and throws Holland on the ground. Stewart stays up and kicks Holland’s legs as he lays on his back. Holland gets back up after the referee stops the action. Jab lands for Stewart, Holland responds with hammer fists. Stewart attempts a knee stomp and he eats a combination. Jab lands again for Stewart. Level change from Holland stopped by Stewart. Stewart lets go of the headlock and gets hit with a right hand. Another knee stomp lands for Stewart. Leaping uppercut lands for Holland, he lands a knee in the clinch as the round ends.

Holland counters a leg kick from Stewart with a right hand. Stewart lands a leg kick and retreats. Stewart lands a right hand and he gets a takedown right after. Holland is on his feet but Stewart gets him to the ground. Holland gets back up and stays in the clinch. Both fighters exchange blows in the clinch before breaking away. Big elbow lands in the clinch for Stewart. Stewart gets Holland to the ground and gets in half guard. Stewart lands some ground and pound. Stewart keeps landing punches on the ground as the round ends.
