Jamahal Hill thinks it’s about time he steps in the Octagon with Jiri Prochazka.
‘Sweet Dreams’ is dreaming of a title shot
Hill has been calling for a fight with the current UFC Light Heavyweight Champion for a while now, even before he crowned the king of the division. After dispatching Thiago Santos this weekend, ‘Sweet Dreams’ made another push for his dream fight against Prochazka.
“Everybody interests me at the top, but I want the shot at Jiri,” Hill said at the UFC Vegas 59 post-fight presser. “I’ve been calling for Jiri for two years now. I want him. I don’t care if he’s the champion. I got twice as many wins as he does in this organization. So I want him.”
Of course, lining up a fight with Prochazka right now is no easy task. ‘Denisa’ has his sights on rematching former champ Glover Teixeira, following their glorious battle at UFC 275.
Hill Would Settle For Another Opponent
With this obstacle in the way, Hill wouldn’t mind fighting Polish powerhouse Jan Blachowicz in the meantime.
“I can’t get him? Give me the man that used to sit on that throne. I’ll take Jan,” Hill continued. “I’m hungry. I want gold. The lion is hungry for gold.”
If you were matchmaker Sean Shelby, who would you have Jamahal Hill fight next?
