The MMA world is glad to see Cain Velasquez finally out of jail.

On Tuesday, the former UFC Heavyweight Champion was granted bail at $1M in his attempted murder case by Santa Clara County judge Arthur Bocanegra. Before finally getting bail, Velasquez was behind bars for 8 months for allegedly trying to shoot Harry Goularte Jr. inside a car but he ended up firing shots at Goularte’s stepfather Paul Bender instead.

MMA Stars React

Since his Feb. 28 arrest, many MMA figures have been quick to defend the actions of Velasquez as he tried to vanquish Goularte, who allegedly molested his four year-old son. The #FreeCain movement trended for months and it has now become a reality. With Velasquez being granted bail, fighters would rejoice following the news.

“LFG!!!!!!!!!” Daniel Cormier tweeted.

“About time,” Michael Bisping wrote. “Congrats to all his family.”

“Bail set!” Javier Mendez wrote. “Finally a judge that gets it.. No real Man like Cain would ever flee knowing his Family would be left with out him. Now it’s time to push forward to get this case over & have Him back Home for good where he belongs. If you have anything negative to say about this post… Please stop following me because I will block you. Let the system work before you make judgement. Not everything is what it seems. And let’s see what happens as this case unfolds. #cainwillbefree.”

“Cain Velasquez has been granted bail #freecainvelasquez,” Derek Brunson wrote. “Welcome home CAIN.”

“God is good!” Aljamain Sterling reacted.

“You don’t need to agree with me but this might be the best thing that’s happened in a while,” Damien Brown said. “Cain will likely serve time again but at least he can spend time with his family while he waits. If a pedo can walk free then so should Cain.

“Let’s go’!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Deron Winn wrote.
