Then Filho’s career didn’t just fall off the rails, his career flipped, it ran the rails upside-down while moving backwards until the moment it jumped the tracks into a fiery vortex. Again, what hell?
Paulo Filo has been through shit. Visa issues, getting shot in the leg while at a Brazilian party, car crashes, mental breakdowns while in the cage, not showing up to events on the day of the fight and more.
Now 40 years old Filo is back in the cage and competing in MMA for the first time in four years. Before his fight over the weekend, his last won came over fellow Pride vet Ninja Rua in 2012.
