Leigh Hancock, a former MMA fighter, has been sentenced to 40 months in jail following his 10-hour attack on his ex-girlfriend.
According to reports, Hancock was said to have put his former girlfriend Fallon Bramall, through 10 hours of absolute hell. The reports state that the former MMA fighter repeatedly used her as a punching bag causing multiple injuries including a broken orbital socket, a broken nose, multiple bite marks over her face and body, and a broken jaw. The attack left the 39-year-old victim unrecognizable.
On April 28, Hancock was officially sentenced in a Derby Crown Court and was sentenced to two years for making death threats with the remaining 16 months coming as punishment for the assault. He also got an additional month in jail for property damage.
Bramall Disappointed with Hancock’s Sentence
After the sentence was announced, Bramall spoke to the DailyMail and she was shocked by his sentence. He thought Hancock deserved a longer sentence, especially after what he put her through.
“I can’t believe that’s all he got. He deserves so much more. Our justice system is a complete joke. He should have been taught a lesson… I thought he was going to kill me. He’s an ex-MMA fighter and he practised his moves on me. All I kept thinking was how I’d never see my kids again. I was in so much pain and was covered in blood. He just flipped and left me for dead. I’m lucky to be alive,” Bramall said.

According to Fallon Bramall, she says the assault felt like forever and after he stopped, he told her if she called the police he should kill her children. Luckily, Bramall’s friend ended up calling the police and the ex-MMA fighter did get arrested and now will spend time in jail.
“It seemed to last forever but eventually he stopped,” Bramall said. “He rang his pal to come and get him and threatened to kill my children if I told anyone. (Afterwards) I called my friend who came round to help me. I begged her not to call the police because I was so terrified of him but she did. I’m so grateful for that now.”
The hope now is Bramall can get back to living a normal life but she is disappointed Leigh Hancock didn’t get a longer sentence.
