  • Drake revealed that he won more than two and a half million in total winnings by betting on Israel Adesanya at UFC 287
  • The rapper also bagged a lump sum of money by betting on Jon Jones at UFC 285.

It’s another huge payday for UFC betting high roller Drake as he got to bag more than two and a half million in winnings by betting on Israel Adesanya at UFC 287. However, the famous rapper lost half a million when he bet on Jorge Masvidal, who lost to Gilbert Burns.

A good day to win

Breaking the good news on his official Instagram account, Drake a.k.a. “champagnepapi,” shared a screenshot of the proof that he had just won a staggering $1,840,000 for betting on Adesany, who finished Alex Pereira in Round 2 via KO.

On top of that, Drake also gets to cash in an additional $885k of winnings for betting that Izzy will win via KO/TKO. All in all, the rapper pocketed a whopping $2.725M in winnings.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t the case with Drake’s bet on Masvidal as he lost $500k for betting on “Gamebred.”

A good run

Drake did not find any luck in the last time he bet on Adesanya at UFC 281. Pereira stunned Izzy in that title fight resulting in Drake losing $2 million. However, it can be recalled that the award-winning artist previously won a total of $1.7 million in winnings by betting on Jon Jones at UFC 285.

As it stands, Drake seems to have really broken the so-called “Drake Curse,” and is already on a good run in his betting game.

Drake has become a notable figure in the sporting world due to the network he has built over the years. He has had connections in the UFC and is friends with Adesanya personally.
