Derrick Lewis Wins Francis Ngannou In The Co-Main Event Of UFC 226 – One Of The Worst Matches Ever!

After Max Holloway was claimed unfit to fight, Brian Ortega decided to turn all the fights down. So UFC officials decided to give Derrick Lewis and Francis Ngannou chance to test their skills at the co-main event of UFC 226. We are live here in the T-Mobile Arena.

This will be the fight between the two strongest punchers in the history of UFC, and we are expecting a KO! There is a huge rivalry between these two, and surprisingly, Cameroonian is the favorite according to bookmakers!

Round 1

Everything could be over pretty soon… Ngannou switches stance… both fighters very cautious. Lewis misses with a right high kick. Ngannou only feints but waits for the perfect shot… moves like a Karate fighter, he was working a lot since the last match with Miocic, completely new style. Great middle kick by Lewis and The Predator defends a takedown attempt. Front kick miss by Lewis. Good low kick by Lewis… Ngannou misses with a jab to the body.

Lewis misses with a jab. Ngannou is again missing, and the crowd is more nervous… switch kick attempt by Lewis but again to Predator’s hand. Again Lewis misses with a switch kick, what a stalemate… who knows who won this round!

Round 2

Ngannou holds his hands high and tries with a right straight but nothing happens. Fighters don’t fight again! The Predator just dances around the octagon and does nothing. Lewis lands a high kick to Ngannou’s arms. The crowd is getting more and more nervous!

Herb Dean finally warns the fighters. Great right hand from Lewis and a clinch but Ngannou evade successfully the single leg attempt. Lewis again misses with a right hand. What a disappointment of the match. Lewis again tries with a switch kick. Ngannou switches stance. This definitively isn’t The Predator we were looking in the fight against Miocic.

Is Herb Dean going to do something?! Ngannou misses to the body and Lewis misses with a low kick. Very strange fight by Ngannou.

Herb Dean Is Angry!

Herb Dean losses nerves and warns them up again for point abduction. Ngannou with a jab. Good switch kick by Lewis but receives a right cross. Lewis misses to the body, Ngannou does nothing.

Good uppercut by Ngannou as Lewis tries to take him down. Lewis misses with a body kick, and the round is over. Very boring fight to watch, maybe Lewis won this round.

Round 3

Ngannou feints again… too cautious and misses with a jab. Lewis with a low kick, and again with a low kick. Oh man, what the hell is happening with Francis Ngannou? What a disappointment!

No action still, Lewis tries to clinch up but Ngannou misses with a counter. Crowd booes all the time. It looks like The Predator has a psychological barrier since the last match with Stipe Miocic… and Herb Dean isn’t warning them. Ngannou switches stance and nothing happens… What a stalemate… Lewis tries with a low kick and misses… Lewis finally with a combo but nothing happens.

Only around 20-30 shots total… one of the worst matches in the history of UFC ever. This is really a huge disappointment. Lewis tries to the body and nothing happens. The last minute. Ngannou misses with a left high kick. Both fighters should lose this match!

Good body kick by Lewis, Ngannou misses with a kick. The Predator lands a left hook, Lewis lands few knees, Ngannou still does nothing. The Predator tries to take him down, but the fight is over. Just listen to the crowd in Las Vegas… this is terrible! Joe Rogan and Dominick Cruz are saying this is the worst fight they have ever looked!
