By now, pretty much everybody has seen the video of Dana White hitting his wife Anna on New Year’s Eve. That includes the UFC President’s “old friend” Oscar De La Hoya

‘You Don’t Hit Women’

The boxer-turned-promoter hasn’t always seen eye-to-eye with White. There’s years and years of beef between the two promoters which sort of settled down sometime last year. However, De La Hoya is back at it again being the latest to criticize White for hitting his wife in Mexico.

“There’s a lot of powerful people behind UFC and there’s a lot of money behind the organization,” De La Hoya said about White’s lack of punishment for the incident while on The MMA Hour. “Look, what he did was obviously wrong. You don’t hit women. I mean, come on. You just don’t. It’s a douche move, it really is. You don’t do that.

“But look, the powers [that] be kept it under the rug, swept it under the rug,” De La Hoya added. “I’m not gonna get involved or say anything about it. I mean, everybody knows that he’s a douche.”

Dana White did not receive any punishment from the UFC or its parent company Endeavor for hitting his wife. The UFC boss considers having to live with it for the rest of his life punishment enough for his actions.
