Daniel Cormier has responded to the latest video of Jon Jones poking fun at him.
Jones recently had a seminar and he was explaining to aspiring MMA fighters how he was able to thwart Daniel Cormier’s game plan in their rematch back in 2017. In the clip, Jones mocked the way Cormier reacted to his body kicks, which drew laughs from the students. Jones then demonstrated how he was able to stop Cormier’s forward pressure.
Cormier has now responded to “Bones.”

In a new video of his own, Daniel Cormier shared his response to the video of Jon Jones making fun of his reaction to body kicks. Cormier praised Jones and his team for their game plan, but he wonders if he’s actually the one taking space in “Bones'” head.
“As I was gone, Jon Jones was making the rounds,” Cormier said. “I guess he was doing a seminar or something and he was talking about me and the way that I fought, but he was making these sounds. I just want everyone to know while it seems as though he wants to give me my flowers, he likes to make fun of me. People say stuff like, ‘Jones lives rent-free in DC’s head,’ what about him? He’s doing a seminar talking about me. ‘DC used to throw this overhand right and get into the high crotch. DC fought very aggressive.’ I wonder if he gets the same thing that I get when I respond. Hats off to him and his team for building a great game plan because I was gonna fight with a lot of forward pressure. I love the sound he made that I would make when he would knee me in the belly because for a long time he’s called me fat. I got to see the fat under his chin for the first time.”
There appears to be no end in sight when it comes to the banter between these two. If nothing else, things aren’t nearly as hostile between Cormier and Jon Jones as they once were.
