Dana White Talks Start Of Zuffa Boxing, Keys To Success
Dana White may have been a staple in MMA for over 20 years. However, he is ready to finally start his foray into the world of boxing.
White has been talking about the start of Zuffa Boxing for a long time. Even in the lead up to Mayweather vs McGregor, he could be seen sporting a Zuffa Boxing shirt. The idea for this boxing promotion has been in the works for a while, and has always been a passion for Dana White.
It comes as no surprise that he announced that the launch of Zuffa Boxing would be coming soon. Yet at the media scrum for this week’s Contender Series, White announced that will be coming to fruition before the end of the year. Additionally, he says he knows exactly what it takes for Zuffa Boxing to be a success.
“Exactly what the key is here is to go after the best up-and-coming fighters in the world, and the best fight the best. That’s it. I have a lot of different ideas on how to do that and I want to get together with my guy. we run through everything. we come up with a plan and then we execute in November.
On top of that, White is creating a huge headquarters inside the Apex Facility.
“The headquarters, we’re actually building a whole wing Right now. there’s construction going on. offices are being built, war room and all that stuff for us to be in full swing hopefully by October so I’m excited. I’m ready, I’m excited, timing is perfect.”
With no fighters currently signed to Zuffa Boxing, it will be interesting to see how things play out. Nevertheless, Dana White seems excited and motivated for this new chapter in his career.
