Dana White opened up about his relationship with his deceased parents.
Earlier this week, Piers Morgan released an interview with the UFC president to discuss various topics. During their conversation, White began talking about his family and revealed his parents recently passed away. He had this to say:
“My parents taught me a lot about what I didn’t wanna be as a parent. I don’t think I’ve ever talked about this, but my parents both died recently. I don’t like talking about it, but yeah. My parents died recently.”
It turns out Dana White didn’t have the best relationship with his parents. Piers Morgan asked the 54-year-old millionaire how he felt about their passing, and White responded by saying:
“I’m good with it. I’m good with everything. I focus a lot on my kids and my relationship with them. I’ve sort of put my relationship with my parents behind me…No [I didn’t feel sad]. I didn’t wish any ill will on either one of my parents. When they passed away, I had almost no feelings about it to be honest with you.”
Morgan followed up by asking White about his involvement in the funeral services for his parents. The UFC president was candid by providing the following quote:
“I took care of my father and moved him up to Maine and put him to rest with his family up there. My mother, I had nothing to do with aunty of hers. Her family handled her when she passed away.”
🚨| Dana White has revealed that he recently lost both of his parents, with whom he had a tumultuous relationship.

“Idc what happens in life. My relationship with my parents will never get this bad. If I lost my mom or dad I’d lose myself frfr”

“Double sad story.. Always feels sad when someone loses a family member, but it’s double bad knowing they had rocky relations.. May they rest in peace!”

“It’s always sad when the parents and child are both hurting from past trauma. I’m sure Dana wishes things could be different.”
Longtime MMA fans may have already been aware of Dana White’s complicated relationship with his parents. Back in the day, the UFC president’s mother did an interview accusing her son of cheating on his wife with ring girls. It’s unconfirmed whether or not those accusations are true.
