- Dana White talked about how the UFC has been preparing UFC 300
- The UFC president guarantees that everything could still change in the current status of UFC 300
UFC president Dana White was thrilled over the fact that nothing about the UFC 300 card is guaranteed.
Everything could change
Speaking on Full Send podcast, the UFC boss admitted that the making of UFC 300 has been a wild ride. To prove how “crazy” things have been going on lately about the event, White hinted that everything that has been announced about UFC 300 could change in a snap.
“I’m talking serious about this right now. There are so many twists and turns, and crazy f**king sh*t going on behind the scenes of UFC 300,” White said. “It’s f—king unbelievable. Everything that everybody thinks about UFC 300 right now, literally could all change tomorrow. Cause it’s f**king crazy what’s going on right now.”
“Every f**king fight that’s on the card already could be a main event… So “We have one more slot to fill mid-level, and then we have the main event,” he continued. “There are two other fights… I know what I’m trying to do [for the main event], but what I’m trying to do and what’s going to happen could end up being two completely different things. Unless I completely f**king change everything.”
What’s the latest on UFC 300
As it stands, the latest addition to the UFC 300 main card is still the bantamweight showdown between former PFL champion Kayla Harrison and former UFC champion Holly Holm. There is still no concrete main event for the card but on paper, it’s the BMF title fight between Justin Gaethje and Max Holloway.
After what White has revealed, it wouldn’t be a shock if another massive announcement about UFC 300 will be made in the coming days.
