Dana White Says “McGregor Isn’t The Man Anymore”, The Former Two-Division Champ Responds

UFC boss Dana White and Conor McGregor were great friends earlier. Do you remember when Dana called McGregor “his Tyson and Ali”?

Well, Dana is known for changing his mind. Conor McGregor hasn’t competed since his UFC 229 loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Dana spoke to The Boston Globe earlier this week. The UFC boss discussed what’s next for Khabib and McGregor. He says that Conor “isn’t the man anymore”, while his angry rival Khabib is.

“Khabib is the man now,” Dana White stated. “Conor isn’t the man anymore, so Khabib gets to sit back and call the shots.”

Conor McGregor was not thrilled with Dana’s recent statement. He replied today on his Twitter account.

“Who’s not the man? Your man had that marquee event did he? More like an event in a marquee. A tent in the fucking sand it was. Keep spoofing to your self horse. Jock strap sniffer championships.”

Conor McGregor was briefly linked for a bout against Justin Gaethje but it failed because of his arm injury. Then he verbally agreed to meet Frankie Edgar, but Dana White shut this possibility down.

What are your thoughts on Conor’s message for UFC boss?
