Cris Cyborg Destroys Yana Kunitskaya Via First Round TKO

Cris Cyborg and Yana Kunitskaya squared off for the UFC’s female featherweight title bout in the main event of tonight’s UFC 222 pay-per-view card in Las Vegas.

Predictably Cris Cyborg destroys Yana Kunitskaya, retains Featherweight title and remains undefeated in 20 consecutive bouts.

Cris Cyborg jumped in on three weeks notice and will attempt to solidify her status as the world’s most fearsome female fighter against Yana Kunitskaya at UFC 222.

Cyborg (19-1, 1 no contest) is a -1700 massive favorite over Kunitskaya, who is a +1100 underdog.

Cyborg is coming off a unanimous-decision victory over Holly Holm on Dec. 30. It was the second consecutive patiently tactical win for the notoriously heavy-hitting striker, in addition to winning the inaugural title with a third-round TKO of former Invicta FC bantamweight champion Tonya Evinger in July.

Cyborg put her fighting skill on display yet again when she destroyed challenger Yana Kunitskaya for a first-round TKO in the main headliner of UFC 222.

Yana Kunitskaya landed some strikes in the first round. Kunitskaya found a little bit of early success in the grappling area, but as soon as champion Cyborg found open space, the heavy punches were unstoppable. Cyborg cracked with some hardcore hands, and then opened a barrage of serious ground and pound to seal the deal.
