Khabib Feels Conor isn’t Welcome in Russia Due to Allegations

UFC Lightweight Conor McGregor currently has much more to worry about other than fighting in the UFC octagon. Consistent sexual assault allegations seem to be making their way to the forefront of when Conor’s name is mentioned in headlines. Although the allegations are glaring, McGregor has elected to use his social media for building a fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov. Unfortunately, due to McGregor’s charges, Khabib feels like Conor isn’t welcome in Russia.

The pair engaged in a flurry of tweets directed at one another. Fueling the engagement was a statement made by UFC President Dana White. White told media members that Conor was “No longer the man” when it comes to being at the top of MMA.

Next, Dana went on to say that “Khabib is the man now, so Khabib gets to sit back and call the shots.”

The quote by White inspired Conor to do what he usually does when he hears the news he doesn’t appreciate. Go to Twitter and let fans know his opinion.

Conor and Khabib Go Back and Forth on Twitter

“Who’s not the man?” wrote McGregor. “Your man had that marquee event did he? More like an event in a marquee. A tent in the f***ing sand it was. Keep spoofing to your self horse. Jockstrap sniffer championships.”

Responding, Khabib told McGregor he was drunk. Then the pair went back and forth exchanging a bunch of tweets written in Russian.

As the tweets progressed, Conor wrote “See you in Moscow” to Khabib. Responding, Khabib said, “Rapists are not allowed in Moscow.” The tweet was in response to news headlines circulating of McGregor’s latest allegations.

Instead of responding to Khabib’s comments, McGregor chose to simply send a photo without a caption.

Making the Rematch

The photo appears to be of Conor in Russia applying for a visa. Stating in the past that he would rematch Khabib in Moscow, he first must get a win. At least in the mind of Khabib.

Khabib didn’t respond to the photo of McGregor. However, it seems like the feud between the men is reigniting to new levels.

If Conor manages to get back into the octagon soon and win, the Khabib rematch could very well be on the docket. And, the re-match could go down as the biggest UFC fight of all time.
