Conor McGregor is starting some beef with an unlikely UFC fighter in his latest Twitter post.

Conor McGregor has become almost as equally known for his fighting in the cage as he has his fighting on social media. He is often calling out different people on Twitter and starting feuds with fighters in and out of his weight class. His latest shot was fired at UFC heavyweight rising star and fellow European fighter Tom Aspinall.

Aspinall has been out of competition for a while now as he heals up from a knee injury suffered in his last fight. He was recently interviewed by Jamal Niaz on YouTube where he took a slight at the upcoming bout between McGregor and Michael Chandler. He mentioned that he was not interested in seeing that fight and in fact, would not care if it was canceled.

“Honestly, I’m not that interested in it. I’ll still watch it but I’m kinda of over McGregor,” he said. “For me, there’s way more exciting fights out there than that. The heavyweight fight coming up that I’m super invested in, the London card, Leon Edwards, I could sit here and name them all day. There’s another 20 fights I’m more interested in. Will I watch it? Yeah, but if it gets canceled, I won’t be upset about it.”

Conor McGregor tells Tom Aspinall to keep his comments to himself

McGregor must have caught wind of these comments by Aspinall and decided to take to social media to reply.

“@AspinallMMA mush head rat keep your comments to yourself,” he wrote.

McGregor is currently in Las Vegas filming The Ultimate Fighter season across from Chandler. The two will fight later this year although the date is yet to be determined. McGregor has been out of the cage for a while healing from injury just like Aspinall has. The difference is that he pulled himself out of the USADA testing pool to do his recovery and will need six months back in before returning. The timetable for Aspinall has not yet been revealed.
