UFC welterweight contender Stephen Thompson paid his old pal Conor McGregor a visit at the set of The Ultimate Fighter Season 31.
A quick visit
It’s not every day that fight fans get to have a peek at what is going on on the set of TUF. However, that wasn’t the case when TUF 31 coach McGregor posted an epic photo of him and “Wonderboy” inside one of the show’s facilities.
In the photo, the first thing people would notice is the remarkable mass of “The Notorious.” Thompson has been a 170-pounder for years but in the photo, McGregor evidently looked a lot bigger than him.
McGregor and Thompson are both under Paradigm Management. In the other photo, the two UFC stars were joined by Paradigm Sports CEO Audie Attar.
“Karate Royalty! Team @paradigmsports.” McGregor wrote.

It was a redo
As it turned out, the photo was apparently a redo of McGregor and Thompson’s photo a few years back. For those who didn’t know, the former UFC two-division champion and “Wonderboy” have been good friends since McGregor was still a featherweight fighter.
By looking at the original version of the photo, it would be a lot easier to tell that McGregor has gone a long way in bulking up.

Thompson has yet to find his next opponent but he has successfully ended his losing streak by stopping Kevin Holland at UFC Orlando. On the other hand, McGregor will finally make his highly-anticipated UFC return when he takes on Michael Chandler in the season finale of TUF 31.
