Conor McGregor has posted an odd voice note message to rapper Snoop Dogg.

On Thursday, Snoop Dogg took to social media to share the news that he’s quitting smoking. The news caught many by surprise, including former UFC champ-champ, Conor McGregor. The Irishman took to social media to share a lengthy voice note, with a bizarre message to the rapper.

“Ladies and gentlemen, a mega announcement; a major announcement. The icon that is Snoop Dogg is off the marijuana. He is off the weed. He is actually off the smoke, was what was announced,” Conor McGregor said. “After deep consideration with his family, he has decided to give up the smoke was his exact terminology. God bless that man. God bless the legend Snoop Dogg. I wish him all the best, his family. Bravo. He runs it. Sometimes you gotta say to yourself, you run it, it doesn’t run you. That man runs that game, it doesn’t run him. So I wish him all the best.

“No doubt, we were in the Black Forge Inn a few weeks ago. He had an amazing show in Ireland and we smoked a little bit after it. God bless him, what an icon. I am actually interested,” McGregor continued. “Is he off, he’s ‘off the smoke’ was the term used but does that mean edibles? THC edibles? Maybe he will look to wean off it over time. What is the approach?

“I’m off it now a few weeks in the Middle East and I’m feeling so much better for it. I’ve had pockets of difficulty with it but you know, what type of athlete, what type of human being trying to get the best out of themselves would inhale carcinogenics into the chest cavity? It’s stupidity is what it is and you just have to ask yourself, do you run it or does it run you?”

Although Conor McGregor had a very odd message to Snoop Dogg after the rapper announced he’s quitting smoking, the Irishman says he did see him a few weeks ago, so it does make some sense he would comment on it.
