- Conor McGregor’s manager raved about his much-awaited MMA return
- Charles Oliveira is eyeing to face “The Notorious” early in 2023
Former UFC double champion Conor McGregor may be set for his Hollywood debut, but that doesn’t mean MMA is no longer in his priorities. That’s according to his manager Audie Attar.
Still “The Notorious”
Speaking to MMA Junkie, Attar reassured McGregor fans that “The Notorious” is still passionate about MMA and the “competitor” in him hasn’t wavered one bit.
“First and foremost, he loves this sport,” Attar said of McGregor. “I think that’s the one thing that’s very special about him. It’s why it’s allowed him to reach a level of success that most fighters aspire to achieve. He loves it. The second part is he’s a competitor.”
McGregor’s return, for obvious reasons, has always been a hot subject of discussion. And for Attar, it will be “the greatest comeback” ever.
“Does he have more ambitions and goals that he wants to achieve?,” he added. “Absolutely. I think that’s what makes it so special and so intriguing and it’s going to be an interesting story, and I do believe it’s going to be the greatest comeback in sports history.”
What’s waiting for McGregor
The specific timeframe for McGregor’s UFC return is yet to be determined. However, one thing certain is that big things await the Irish MMA superstar.

Clearly, McGregor will be eyeing to make history once again as he previously said he’s gunning to become the UFC’s first three-weight champion by copping the welterweight strap.
Nothing is concrete yet in the 170-pound division at the moment for McGregor. However, former lightweight champion Charles Oliveira, who could reclaim his belt in October, already stated that “the sole reason” he agreed to fight Islam Makhachev at UFC 280 is to strengthen his case to face McGregor early next year.
Whatever the UFC is planning for McGregor’s return, it will be massive for sure so let’s wait and see how it will pan out.
