Like Boxing Legend Floyd Mayweather, Irishman Also Wants An Exhibition Fight Against Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa But Under MMA Ruleset This Summer
At defeating Conor Mcgregor back in August of 2017 Pugilist Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather resurge from the third retirement to square off against Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa, 20, in a “special rules” exhibition boxing match at Rizin 14 on New Year’s Eve.
The fight, scheduled for three three-minute rounds, with Mayweather, 41, did a quick work of his foe Nasukawa. ‘Money’ dropped a much smaller opponent multiple times on canvas forcing Tenshin’s corner to throw in the towel and cashed in another hefty payday.
Conor Mcgregor who continues to sit on sidelines as he’s currently awaiting his hearing from NSAC on Jan 29th. In the meantime, he’s busy expanding his proper no — twelve whiskey company and family. This past Friday Irishman announced the birth of his daughter Croia.
Most interestingly after seeing Mayweather having all the fun, while he’s sitting idle, Irishman also got an itch to fight. He went on social media and called out none other than Tenshin Nasukawa for another exhibition match, but this time under MMA rulesets.
”I wish to go to Tokyo to face Tenshin Nasukawa in a Mixed Martial Arts exhibition bout,” McGregor wrote on Twitter. “Before this summer. Please arrange this, this instant. Yours sincerely, the champ champ.”

Conor Mcgregor last fought inside the Octagon back in October where he lost the bid to reclaim his lightweight title when Khabib Nurmagomedov defeated him via fourth-round submission at UFC 229.
UPDATE:::
It didn’t long to Japanese Kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa to respond to McGregor’s callout and said he’s willing to make this fight happen but in a kicking contest.
“Dear Mr. McGregor. Thank you very much for remembering my name. I’m honored that you would even consider fighting me. 58kg [127 pounds], kickboxing rules would probably get us in the ring sometime in the near future” – Tenshin Nasukawa on Twitter.
