  • Online fans blasted “Chaos” for intentionally sleeping Lil Pump

MMA fans weren’t happy with what Colby Covington did to Lil Pump.

Colby went too far

Covington and Lil Pump recently collaborated for a live stream content but instead of getting likes and growing his fan base, “Chaos” received a massive backlash. In a clip now circulating online, Covington submitted Lil Pump via a tight rear naked choke.

At first, it appeared as if the pair was demonstrating a high-level submission move until the UFC welterweight contender refused to let go despite Lil Pump tapping out. The streamer went on to tap a couple more times but Covington tightened the choke even more, ultimately sleeping Lil Pump.

Covington finally let go after realizing Lil Pump was already unconscious. After getting up, “Chaos” didn’t seem bothered at all and was even telling everybody to look at how dazed Lil Pump was on the mat.

Fans ripped Colby

As expected, Covington’s action did not sit well with most online fans. Most of them were outraged and some even suggested that the UFC star could be sued for it.

Here’s what some of them had to say:

“Crazy to keep choking after the tap”

“that’s assault”

“Colby an L for that ngl. Bro tapped multiple times.”

“He tapped multiple times. Colby should be demoted on his jiu jitsu belt and should never be allowed to fight again. This isn’t ok especially for a bum.”

“Nothing about this was cool”

“This is attempted murder”

“Colby Covington’s first finish since Obama was president 😭”

Covington last fought at UFC 296 where he lost to Leon Edwards via decision. He is currently being linked to a showdown with a variety of big-name contenders such as Ian Garry and Charles Oliveira.
