Colby Covington wouldn’t hold back on this year’s Olympic Games.
From the opening ceremonies to Imane Khelif taking gold in women’s boxing, there wasn’t a shortage of headlines nor controversy to come from the Paris Olympics, creating an uproar heard around the world.
One voice speaking out against the 2024 Olympics is former title challenger Covington, the first UFC fighter to be invited to The White House, meeting 45th President Donald Trump after winning the interim welterweight championship in 2018.
“The Worst Olympic Games In History”
The conservative contender lashed out at the Olympics for their opening ceremonies which featured drag performers in song and dance, recreating what looked to be Leonardo Da Vinci’s painting ‘The Last Supper’ which features Jesus Christ and his 12 apostles – although event organizers have since denied those claims after religious outcry.
Covington believes this (among other things) were a result of the ‘woke agenda’.
“The worst Olympic games in history have finally come to a close,” Covington said in a video posted to ‘X’. “As an athlete. The opening ceremonies are supposed to be about honoring and celebrating athletes’ achievements, but instead, they use this time to shove a woke agenda down our throats, mocking the Christian faith and pushing pagan propaganda and demonic imagery. It’s disgusting and disrespectful to all the athletes that work so hard to get here.”
Of course, that wasn’t all that was on the mind of Covington…
Covington Goes Off On Lebron James
NBA superstar Lebron James was also at the Olympics, representing team USA in basketball. While sports apart, that wouldn’t stop from Covington and James from taking shots at each other a few years ago, with Covington leading that verbal onslaught, as he continues to this day.
“In that same ceremony, you have ‘Captain I hate America’ LeBron James bestowed the honor of carrying the stars and stripes. When I heard that he was gonna be the one carrying his country’s flag, I thought it was gonna be for China. What happened, LeBron? Did you finally give equality and justice to all those children and women sewing your shoes? Did you bring those jobs back to the states? Or would that mess with your profit margin?”
“The whole thing’s been a joke. You got people swimming in literal feces and s***,” Covington made mention of swimmers in the polluted Seine river. “You got the Olympic community worth billions having these athletes sleep on cardboard boxes.”

Covington: ‘Keep Men Outta Women’s Sports’
Algeria’s Imane Khelif also caught a stray from Covington not long after winning a gold medal in women’s boxing. Rumors circulated that Khelif was a biological male with XY chromosomes, claims that Khelif has since denied during the Olympics.
“You got XY competing against XX chromosomes. Keep men outta women’s sports. In conclusion, it’s just sad to see another prestigious event fall to the woke agenda.”
