Colby Covington did not mince his words in ripping Belal Muhammad and got a short but powerful response from the newly crowned welterweight champion.
‘Chaos’ insulted Belal
Speaking to Submission Radio, “Chaos” hit out at “Remember The Name” with his trademark unfiltered and vulgar insults. Covington mocked Muhammad’s appearance and even claimed that the champ is scared to face him.
“I can tell you who lost. I feel bad for the fans, man. They got robbed of some entertainment and the highest-level fight of two bums, so I feel bad for the fans. Belal, the racist juice monkey, won? Now that he finally made his first check off the prelims, he can finally fix that d*ldo that’s on his face or maybe get his teeth fixed. Those things are nasty and rotten. But that’s only if Ali [Abdelaziz] doesn’t take his money because we know his scumbag manager is a thief,” Covington said.
“The guy’s a f**king p*ssy,” he added. “The only time that (Belal Muhammad) wanted to fight me was when I already had a title fight signed, sealed and delivered. That’s the only time he’s wanted to fight me, otherwise he’s never said my name because he’s a little b*tch. He knows what I would do to him. He’s a p*ssy. If I cross paths with him, he won’t be champion anymore. He won’t be a man anymore. I will take his man card and we know he’s still a virgin, it’s not like anybody’s gonna f**k him cause he’s just disgusting, I mean look at his teeth… He’s just a disgusting excuse of a human. I’d love to fight him. I hope that fight happens. I’ll do whatever it takes to get to that… He knows that I’m in his crosshairs now.”
Muhammad made it clear that he is not giving Leon Edwards an instant rematch and would face the most deserving challenger. However, Covington thinks “Remember The Name” would duck him as much as possible.
“He’s got nothing for me. It’ll be an easy fight. He’s gonna look to duck and pick and choose the easiest fights he can,” Covington speculated.
An epic reply from the champ
Apparently, Muhammad is not in the mood to go back and forth with “Chaos.” In a post on X, the champ just laughed it off and clapped back at Covington’s 0-3 record in title fights.

As it stands, Covington is yet to be scheduled for his next fight. He is currently ranked No. 4 in the official welterweight rankings but is coming off a title fight loss to Edwards at UFC 296.
