UFC Hall of Famer Chuck Liddell believes a third matchup between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz would be intriguing.

McGregor and Diaz had a legendary rivalry under the UFC banner back in 2016. In their first encounter, Diaz pulled off a second-round submission win over the “Notorious” one. McGregor avenged the loss with a majority decision victory over the Stockton native in the rematch.

Since they’re tied at 1-1, some feel there is unfinished business between McGregor and Diaz. Count Liddell as someone who feels another tilt between the two is in order.

Chuck Liddell Calls For Conor McGregor vs. Nate Diaz III

TMZ Sports caught up with Chuck Liddell and was asked about potential options for Conor McGregor’s next fight. The names mentioned to Liddell were Michael Chandler, Jake Paul, and Nate Diaz. “The Iceman” thinks fans would get their money’s worth with Conor McGregor vs. Nate Diaz III.

“All of those would be interesting fights,” Liddell said. “But I would like to see the Nate Diaz one, just run it back one more time. That would be fun to watch.

“I think that would be real competitive,” Liddell said. “I think it’s a good one to come back to.”

Jake Paul’s Chances Against Nate Diaz In MMA

Jake Paul recently defeated Nate Diaz in a boxing match. “The Problem Child” is trying to book an MMA rematch for PFL. Liddell weighed in on Paul’s chances inside the cage.

“He has a wrestling background, that helps,” Liddell said. “Just to be able to make that transition and he like to grab guys that are a lot smaller than him, but Nate’s a good jiu-jitsu guy, he’s a good grappler. He knows how to fight in MMA. There’s a different stance, everything changes. You add kicks, you gotta change your stance. You can’t stay in a boxing stance.”
