The month of July has not been kind to Cris Cyborg and her never-ending quest for the next big super-fight payday. First, Amanda Nunes blasted Miesha Tate’s nose into rubble at UFC 200. Kiss Tate versus Cyborg goodbye for the foreseeable future.
Then at UFC on Fox Chicago, Valentina Shevchenko soundly defeated “The Rousey Slayer” Holly Holm over the course of a 25 minute unanimous decision. See you later Holm versus Cyborg in the UFC.
With sand running out of her hourglass, Cyborg wondered aloud why a fight with Holm never materialized for either woman. Luckily for Cyborg if you have questions The Internet will always have answers for you.
