Social media influencer Bradley Martyn denies that he has any heat with UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland, and he weighs in on Colby Covington’s controversial UFC 296 fight week.

Some MMA fans have gotten to know Martyn after he’s asked numerous smaller MMA fighters if they think they could beat him in a street fight. A section of those fans who know of Martyn’s content were annoyed by the online personality, and even Strickland had heard enough, publicly blasting Martyn.

Martyn had a response to the hoopla with Sean Strickland during an episode of “Mommy Daddy Talk,” but first, let’s get into what he had to say about Colby Covington getting personal with Leon Edwards.

Bradley Martyn Reveals Moment He Stopped Rooting For Colby Covington

Ahead of the UFC 296 main event title fight between welterweight champion Leon Edwards and Colby Covington, Martyn initially sided with Colby to bring the 170-pound gold back to America. That changed when Covington took aim at Edwards’ late father during the pre-fight press conference.

“That was a tough one, I was torn between America and my father,” Martyn said. “I wanted America to win, but then he said that father thing.”

Edwards ended up winning the fight via unanimous decision, and Martyn was left puzzled by Covington’s game plan.

“I did the fight companion with Brendan [Schaub], ‘Rampage’ Jackson, and Brendan was talking about like his goal was to get Leon Edwards to probably be more aggressive towards him, but either way it didn’t even matter because the fight ─ I don’t know what Colby was doing.”

No Beef With Sean Strickland

Martyn went on to set the record straight on whether or not he has any issue with Sean Strickland.

“I asked him to come on my podcast, he’s just not coming on I guess,” Martyn said. “I never beefed … he did an interview with Nina [Marie Daniele], and she was asking him about me. He was like, ‘I’ll f*cking kill that person.’ Whatever, it is what it is. That’s what he should say.”

With that said, Martyn did admit that he doesn’t understand why Strickland rips social media influencers when he has become one himself.
