Anthony Smith Has A Message For “Arrogant A**hole” Luke Rockhold: “I Am Ready To Fight You Anywhere, Even In Aisle Five Of Walmart”
Luke Rockhold is known as a big trash-talker. He had beef with many fighters, especially Fabricio Werdum, who even called him “an arrogant wimp” back in 2016. On the other hand, Mike Swick thinks Luke is just angry, not a cocky guy.
A few days ago, the former UFC and Strikeforce Middleweight champion Luke Rockhold indirectly humiliated Anthony Smith.
In the episode of MMA Hour, Luke Rockhold said Jon Jones should “quit wasting time on fighters like Anthony Smith”. He also “advised” “Bones” to move a division up and fight his training partner Daniel Cormier for the third time. (h/t MMAMania.com)
“Jones walks around 240 and ‘DC’ walks around 240, fight where you are, fight where you are naturally. If you’re the baddest man on the planet, stop trying to pick off guys like Anthony Smith and lets stop talking about ‘DC’ the champ-champ and go up to fight him where he’s at, where he is the baddest man on the planet. If you want to talk about it, go up and fight him go up to where he’s at, otherwise stay where you are at and I will come to you.”

Well, it looks like “Lionheart” didn’t like Luke’s “provocation”. You can read his response below.
“Are we going to gloss over the fact that Luke Rockhold is an asshole? I don’t know Luke Rockhold,” said Smith during a recent chat with Luke Thomas on Sirius XM Fight Nation. “Other than weighing in on one card that we fought on at the same time, I don’t know if I’ve ever been in the same room as him at the same time. I’ve never said one word, good or bad about him. And for whatever reason, you know, he is so… God, he’s just such an asshole. Like I don’t know what the hell I did to that guy, first of all.”
Also, Anthony Smith says Rockhold’s recent score doesn’t give him the right to talk about other fighters. Furious “Lionheart” reminded “arrogant prick” Luke Rockhold that Yoel Romero nearly cut his head off at UFC 221.
“For Luke to come and start talking about me, first of all, you’ve been knocked out two of your last three times. Yoel Romero almost fucking decapitated him. He’s coming off a loss and he can’t even make it to his next fight,” added a heated Smith.
“So who is he to talk about anybody else in the UFC? He’s the most arrogant prick I’ve ever seen or heard speak in my life. And I’ve never done anything to that dude. I’ve never even literally shook his hand. I just don’t know where his sense of arrogance comes from. I fought four times in 13 months or something, got three bonuses. What are you doing? You’re not doing shit. You’re sitting on the sidelines, limping around.”
Anthony Smith doesn’t understand Rockhold’s behavior, since he has never done anything bad to him. Yet, angry “Lionheart” claims he is ready to deal Luke Rockhold anywhere, even at Walmart!
“I don’t understand how you can just disparage someone so bad that, number one, has done nothing to you, and number two, is highly-regarded as one of the hardest-working and most devoted guys in the sport,” he said. “I’ve never attacked him, I just don’t get it. I will fight that guy anywhere. I will fight that guy in aisle five of Walmart.”
