Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan have been freed from prison.

After numerous appeals were denied, the Tates were released by the Bucharest Court of Appeal, overturning a judge’s decision to keep them behind bars. The controversial social media personalities were placed on house arrest, ending their imprisonment dating back to December 2022.

Andrew Tate provided an update for his loyal fanbase with a Twitter video showing him pacing back and forth while smoking a cigar. The video was captioned:

“Since last year ive been in 24 hour lockdown. No yard time. Pacing a 3metre cell with zero electronics or outside contact. Absolute clarity of mind. Real thoughts. Real plans. Vivid pain. One hour home and I cant stand my phone. Some habits die hard. We must defeat Shaytan.”

On December 29, 2022, DIICOT (Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism) raided the Tate brother’s homes under the jurisdiction of the Romanian government. Andrew and Tristan were detained and accused of several disturbing crimes, including human trafficking, rape, and running an organized crime group.

Andrew Tate, 36,  and his brother Tristan, 34, have done a phenomenal job establishing a loyal fanbase. While they were imprisoned, people worldwide showed support daily. Once ‘Top G’ posted his latest video on Twitter, fans rejoiced in the comment section, including some saying:

“good to see you back king”

“God is good. Clarity is key. Welcome home. Namaste”

“Here comes a very different man, I sincerely look forward to seeing this unbeatable man take it to the next level.”

“Shit about to go crazy, welcome home”

“As awful and unjust as it was, the incarceration served as an opportunity for you to take your mindset and game plan to the next level – and you took that opportunity It was a blessing in disguise from Allah “Perhaps you dislike a thing and it is good for you”

It’s unclear what’s next for the Tate brothers. Although they aren’t in prison, the controversial social media personalities remain on house arrest until further notice. It’ll be intriguing to see if they can prove their innocence and avoid any more time behind bars.
