Matt Riddle looks like a guy that has used the hot water in the coffee pot at 7-11 to make Ramen noodles. Now it looks like Riddle will be doing a lot more late-night shenanigans since he announced he retired from MMA last night via Twitter.
Riddle was not only pegged to make his Bellator debut, but also slated to compete in World Series of Fighting in just a few weeks. Bummer. It looks like MMA has lost one of its most adamant marijuana pioneers, a guy that figuratively gave the finger to Dana White when he said he believed UFC is trying to eliminate wrestling from the promotion.
It also looks like we won’t have that match-up between Matt Riddle and Kevin Randleman that we were all sort of promised after this epic interview came out. Well, it was fun Riddle. We’re not sure what you’re going to do in a post-MMA life, but we hope that it involves a lot of controversy.
