Ali Abdelaziz Says Conor McGregor Lost His Soul To Khabib

It is no secret that Ali Abdelaziz is not a fan of Conor McGregor. However, the manager believes that Khabib Nurmagomedov did more than just beat Conor.

Abdelaziz may be extremely controversial in the world of MMA. Nevertheless, he is one of the most successful managers in the sport. He represents many top tier fighters including Frankie Edgar and Kelvin Gastelum. Moreover, his reach extends outside of the UFC as well, repping people from Bellator and PFL as well.

However one of the best fighters under the management of Ali Abdelaziz, is lightweight champ Khabib Nurmagomedov. Khabib is fresh off a win over Dustin Poirier, but his previous fight was against Conor McGregor. Khabib dominated the fight, en route to a fourth round submission, in the highest selling UFC PPV of all time.

Despite that, Ali Abdelaziz believes McGregor lost more than just the fight to Khabib. At a recent media day for his management group, he explained that he feels as if McGregor lost his soul as well.

“I think he’s the best at getting people’s attention. you might see this man may never fight again. He might, I hope he does, because I have a lot of guys who would whoop his ass. Justin would whoop his ass, Frankie would whoop his ass, Islam Makhachev would beat his ass. I know a lot of guys in the top-15 who would beat his ass.

We understand this man has no soul. Khabib took his soul. It’s done. He doesn’t have balls because we know he quit. But fight, or go away like Justin Gaethje said. get away. That’s it.”

Do you think Ali Abdelaziz is right about Conor McGregor losing his soul to Khabib?
