Tyson Fury made his presence known at WWE Clash at the Castle, the promotion’s latest premium event held inside Principality Stadium in Cardiff.

The main event of the evening saw Roman Reigns defending his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against British superstar Drew McIntyre. In the final minutes of the contest as both wrestlers were down, Austin Theory the holder of the Money in the Bank contract came sprinting down the ramp, ready to cash in his contract for a shot at the WWE title while both competitors were already exhausted.

As Theory made his way to the timekeeper to hand over the case and make it official, heavyweight boxing icon Tyson Fury reared back and dropped Theory with a crushing right hand that sent the crowd into a frenzy.

Shortly after, Roman Reigns would successfully defend his title bringing a close to the event. That’s when Tyson Fury stepped into the WWE ring. After a brief staredown, Fury and Reigns shook hands with the WWE superstar leaving the ring unscathed.

That appeared to be the end of the show, but Fury wasn’t quite done yet. With Drew McIntyre still in the ring, Tyson Fury and the ‘The Scottish Warrior’ lead the crowd in a rendition of Don McLean’s 1971 classic, ‘American Pie.’

Tyson Fury Can See Himself as a WWE Superstar Someday

Tyson Fury appeared at a press conference following the WWE Clash at the Castle event. There, he discussed his passion for professional wrestling and indicated that becoming a full-time WWE superstar is something that could very well happen in the future.

“At the moment, I’m a heavyweight world champion and I have plenty of fights that I have to take in the next few years, but I really have a passion for WWE, as you saw me at Crown Jewel and here and a couple of other events. Never say never, let’s just say, Triple H is here and I’d definitely be open to it in the future for sure.”

WWE’s Chief Content Officer and multi-time WWE Champion Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque also discussed the possibility of seeing Tyson Fury inside a WWE ring on a regular basis.

“When Tyson Fury does finish his work inside the boxing ring, probably the entire time as the world heavyweight champion, retiring undefeated, but when he does that, the door is always open for him here, we’d love to do business with him. We enjoy what we get to do with him now. Having him, and his family here is our pleasure. I know they mess with each other, I saw the look between him and Roman Reigns tonight, when the time comes and Tyson Fury and I have that conversation, I can guarantee you this, we’re gonna have to build some bigger stadiums, somewhere, to hold that event.”
