The highly-anticipated Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul boxing match is no longer happening on July 20.

A devastating news

Tyson and Paul have been doing a great job promoting their fight when a recent discovery about Tyson’s health condition resulted in the postponement of the bout. In an official statement released by Netflix, the streaming platform confirmed that Tyson is dealing with some “ulcer flare-ups” and will be needing ample timets r.

That said, the fight will not happen on Jun 20 but Netflix guaranteed that it would be rescheduled to a date before the year ends.

“Unfortunately Jake Paul and Mike Tyson will not face-off on July 20 as planned. Tyson’s recent ulcer flare up has limited his ability to train fully for the next few weeks.

The fight will be rescheduled for a date later this year after Mike’s able to resume training with no limitations and both fighters can have equal time to prepare for this once-in-a-lifetime matchup!

Stay tuned for the new fight date to be announced by the end of next week,” the statement read.

Logan wants to replace Tyson

Tyson and Paul have been all-in on the fight physically and mentally and Jake’s older brother Logan seems to be aware of it. In fact, Logan has offered to replace Tyson to save the fight and Jake appears to be down for it.

“So Mike Tyson’s out? I’ll step in and we can settle this once and for all @jakepaul,” Logan wrote on X.

“Mom doesn’t want me to KO you, but f*ck it,” Jake responded. “Loser has to change their last name.”

Tyson vs. Paul was sanctioned as professional fight. With Tyson currently suffering a health condition, some say the boxing legend shouldn’t have been cleared to fight in a pro bout in the first place.
