The Boxer Who Squared Off The Former UFC Two Division Champion Claims Conor McGregor Delivered An Unfair Punch!
It seems McGregor caught his latest boxing opponent with an illegal blow.
“The Notorious” boxed versus amateur fighter Michael McGrane last Friday in Crumlin Boxing Club. His appearance wasn’t advertised, because Conor McGregor took part under the name “A. Another”.
But Michael McGrane issued a shocking statement in the interview with TMZ. The amateur boxer claims Conor McGregor delivered an illegal left hook. But despite a cheap shot, McGrane is adamant the referee stood by Conor’s side! (h/t TMZ)
“You’re meant to go back to your corner, but Conor never went back to his corner,” McGrane says. “Conor leaped at me with a left hook. Conor McGregor hit me a cheap shot in his own hometown. The ref was on his side. There’s no way I would have won that fight unless I knocked him out.”
