Anthony Joshua appears ready for his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk.
Joshua is set to challenge Usyk for the heavyweight titles when they rematch on August 20 in Saudi Arabia.
Their first meeting took place in September last year with Usyk comprehensively outboxing Joshua to earn a comfortable unanimous decision victory and become the new unified heavyweight champion.
Many have since written off Joshua’s chances of victory in a rematch.
However, Joshua doesn’t seem to care too much. The former champion recently posted some images of himself at the beach displaying his incredible physique.
If anything, it appears he is more than in shape and ready to prove the doubters wrong.
Anthony Joshua Will Need More Than Size
Of course, Joshua is always known for having a great physique.
It’s one of the reasons why Tyson Fury mockingly calls him a bodybuilder as opposed to a boxer.
But even with this physique, “AJ” will need to rely on his boxing ability if he wants any chance of regaining his heavyweight titles against Usyk.
After all, his size and physique played no role in him getting outboxed by the smaller Usyk over 12 rounds in their first encounter last year.
One would imagine another defeat would have huge consequences on the career of Joshua as well, so this is as big a fight as any for the Briton.
