Alexander Povetkin Brutally KO David Price With A Vicious Left Hook That Joshua Vs. Parker Lacked

The biggest boxing match of 2018 happened last night Saturday, March 31, 2018, where two undefeated heavyweight champions Anthony Joshua and Joseph Parker squared off in the main headliner. Joshua ultimately prevailed in the contest in winning a 12 round unanimous decision, but it was a total disappointment and wasn’t entertaining to watch.

In the midst of that, we saw two heavyweights Alexander Povetkin and David Price clashed in the co-main event, where David Price was brutally knocked out with a vicious left hook by former world WBA heavyweight champion Alexander Povetkin in the fifth round that stole the show.

This was Povetkin’s eighth consecutive win since his lone loss, to Wladimir Klitschko back in 2013, and he now looks set to face Joshua at some point in the future as the WBA mandatory challenger.
