Johnny has to win
Speaking to Inside Fighting, Rebecca confirmed reports that “Pressure” splurged a total of $85,000 on her shopping spree. But while everything has been fun, Rebecca said she is serious about splitting with Eblen should he ends up losing to Impa Kasanganay in their upcoming middleweight title fight.
“$85,000… [That’s] not a lot for him,” Rebecca said.
“I think he’s gonna kick a**. {if he loses] Then I’m out. He has to win,” she added.
Girls like to be with Johnny
In a recent interview with Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour, Eblen played coy when asked if he really spent $85k on Rebecca. However, “Pressure” confirmed that different girls like to date him.
“[$85,000] That’s what they said, man,” Eblen said.
“I’ve just been balling a little bit lately,” he added. “I can’t talk too much about it, it’s fight week, I’ve got to focus on the fight. I’m a man, I’m a professional, I’ve got to focus on the fight.”
“There’s a few girls fighting for my attention,” Eblen boasted. “They’re battling for it. It’s great to be the king and I’m going to continue to be the king, but we’ve got to focus on the fight. I’ve got to win, that’s the thing. You’ve got to stay the champ, you’ve got to keep winning, or they’re all going to just leave. Got to keep winning.”
Eblen also talked about how his manager Brian Butler pranked him at Home Depot. According to the champ, Butler was able to plot a prank on him by contacting one of the girls he is dating.
“What’s the very common theme that I have who’s always around, Ariel? Who do I always have around me? [Helwani responded with girls?] Yeah! So he’s in contact with one of the girls I was with and he got me at Home Depot, man,” Eblen said.
Eblen has been having the best time of his life both inside and outside of the cage. He has gone unbeaten in all of his 14 fights as a pro and is coming a KO victory over Fabian Edwards at Bellator 299. He is facing Kasanganay this weekend as co-main event of PFL vs. Bellator.
