Bec Rawlings is set to step inside the ring for bare-knuckle fighting again.

The former UFC fighter is slated to take on Britain Hart at BKFC 26 this June 24. Rawlings’s first outing against Hart also served as her first title defense, which she won by a split decision. Now, four years separated from the bout, the ladies will take to the ring at the HardRock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, FL.

Bec Rawlings vs. Britain Hart 2 gets booked

Rawlings came up on the mixed martial arts regional circuit in Australia before moving on to Invicta FC. Her contract was assigned to the UFC after they created a women’s strawweight division in 2013. Although Rawlings would go on to drop five and grab two wins in the promotion, her stardom reached new heights in Australia.

She made the switch to bare-knuckle boxing after being let go by the UFC in 2018. Competing at the inaugural BKFC 1, ‘Rowdy’ won over Alma Garcia who refused to come out for the third round. She was awarded the inaugural Police Gazette Women’s Featherweight World Championship by the Bare Knuckle Boxing Hall of Fame following the victory.

‘Rowdy’ would take a break from BKFC to sign with Bellator in 2019 but only competed in two events under the banner. Rawlings signed a new contract with BKFC last July and was expected to return in October 2021.

However, her comeback did not happen and she was scheduled for a rematch with Hart on 13 May at BKFC Fight Night: Omaha. Hart pulled out of the bout due to a medical emergency and the fight was called off.

The Australian will return to bare-knuckle boxing after a three-year hiatus. She goes into the fight undefeated with a record of 3-0.

Hart is the number one ranked contender in the women’s flyweight division at the time of writing. The former title challenger holds notable wins over UFC veterans Paige VanZant and Pearl Gonzalez in the sport.
