- BKFC has added Paige VanZant vs. Charisa Sigala at the upcoming London event next month
- The ex-UFC star will hope to secure her first win in the promotion
Following a successful pro wrestling debut, Paige VanZant will now get a third shot at BKFC. The promotion’s president David Feldman has confirmed that the former UFC star will take on Charisa Sigala at the upcoming London event.
A fan favorite gets another chance
As famous as a fighter she is, VanZant has yet to cop a victory at BKFC, having lost her first two fights against Britain Hart and Rachel Ostovich, respectively. Feldman was prompted to admit that VanZant’s future in his company has become uncertain. However, in a recent interview, the BKFC boss revealed that “12 Gauge” is getting another crack in the upcoming London event as she is undeniably “loved in the U.K.”
“I think it’s going to add a lot of hype to this card,” Feldman told MMA Fighting after confirming VanZant vs. Sigala. “I know Paige is loved in the U.K., at least all the tabloids and everything like that, they love writing about her, so now we’re going to give them something to write about. I think it was just a great addition to an unbelievable main event and this undercard is just stacked.”

Make or break?
While Feldman did not say if this will be VanZant’s last shot, it’s clear that another loss would surely put the ex-UFC flyweight in a difficult situation.
Unlike VanZant’s first two BKFC foes, Sigala has yet to establish herself as a bare knuckle boxing star, having held a record of only 1-2-1. Hence, it makes it hard to predict how the fight would go down. One thing certain though is that fans would be hyped to see “12 Gauge” back in action again.
