As soon fight began Baroni attempted multiple takedowns throughout the match. But Leben was able to counter elegantly with a left hand that dropped Phil down, and he fell face first into the canvas. The referee stepped in to waved off the action when Baroni tried to get up.
Baroni, 42, last fought in May of this year, defeated Matt Lagler by TKO under the King of the Cage banner in Alpine, California.
Leben snapped a four-fight losing streak after scoring a win over Baroni on Friday evening.
