WBKFF Results: Chris Leben Finished Phil Baroni By TKO In Round 1

Chris Leben Stops Phil Baroni In WBKFF Bare-Knuckle Main Event

World Bare Knuckle Fighting Federation (WBKFF)’s inaugural event went down Friday night (Nov 9, 2018) in Casper, Wyoming. The show was air over pay-per-view (PPV) TV around the world.

In the main event, former UFC middleweight Chris “The Crippler” Leben returned to fighting for the first time since his 2013 loss to Uriah Hall and defeated “The New York Bad Ass” Phil Baroni by TKO in the round one.

As soon fight began Baroni attempted multiple takedowns throughout the match. But Leben was able to counter elegantly with a left hand that dropped Phil down, and he fell face first into the canvas. The referee stepped in to waved off the action when Baroni tried to get up.

Baroni, 42, last fought in May of this year, defeated Matt Lagler by TKO under the King of the Cage banner in Alpine, California.

Leben snapped a four-fight losing streak after scoring a win over Baroni on Friday evening.
